HAZEL MUKISA' BIOGRAPHY

 

Meet Hope Hazel Namukisa, commonly known as Hazel Mukisa, a fast rising Ugandan young female singer with a great talent in music.

PERSONAL DETAILS

Hazel was born on 21/01/2001 to Mr.Fred Sentamu, a retired LC 5 councilor in Luwero district and originally from Luwero as well. Her mother is the Late Ms Sylivia Nassuna, who was a music teacher, hailing from Mityana district. Hazel is the only child born to her mum by her father and the eldest to her father’s children. Hazel is known to have 5 siblings from her mother. After the passing on of Hazel's mother, her Godmother, Pastor Mariam Kiwummulo, a pastor at God's Grace Worship Centre and owner of God's Grace Child Care Centre adopted her. According to Hazel, Pr. Mariam is a woman with a large heart for she has always endeavored to take care of orphans.

EDUCATION AND OCCUPATION

 Hazel started her early years of education at God's Grace Kindergarten and Primary School, a school owned by her Godmother but later completed her primary education at St Peters Semyungu Primary School in Luwero. Hazel attended different schools for her secondary school education; Green Valley High School, Mawanda Road High School, Stella Maris Day and Boarding Secondary School. She completed her advanced level education at Kansanga Seed Secondary School.

Hazel is yet to join a tertiary institution but hopes so soon; she wants to study a course in fashion and design.

Currently Hazel's focus is on music, a career which is inborn for it is a talent and a Hobby

Initially Hazel didn't have any interest in music, she discovered her talent upon the death of her lovely mother; a tribute to her for she started liking it. She started practicing music in 2016, the day her Godmother took her to a studio for a Christian song record. Hazel considers that day, the onset of her career.

 

MARITAL STATUS

Hazel is currently single, without children but hopes to get married some day

MUSIC RELEASED

In 2022, Hazel released her first audio song "Let me" . She is set to release its amazing video. In that same year she did a remake of Silence, a song originally composed by Khalid
